someone who has your back and can inspire you and remind you of your goals

and why it's important in achieving them and to offer praise when you do.

What makes me different

For over three decades I devoted my life to my country and to my service.  

I served proudly in the Canadian Air Force and made my way up the conventional ladder.  I mentored, facilitated and coached dozens of subordinates of various ages, backgrounds and cultures.  Life began to shift for me after a service injury left me without a job, without the structure I was used to for some many years.  I was taken out of my comfort zone and into retirement at the age of 52.  I realized that my goals were no longer institutionally related and my mentors were no longer there.  I was also dealing with significant pain, trauma, depression, anxiety and really bad nutritional habits.

Was it Easy?  Of Course not.
Was it Worth it?  No Question.

My life started to shift when I started taking my own new goals more seriously, realizing that although an important chapter in my life had closed, epic adventures were still waiting for me to grab hold of,

I only needed the courage and the belief in myself to do so.

After taking various mindfulness seminars, courses, webinars and reading countless books I enrolled in a two year Holistic Nutrition program where I focused on the Mind Body approach to well being.  I developed an awareness that negative thoughts, beliefs, emotions and mental images along with negative self-talk created an inner balance in our physiology that can lead to serious diseases even chronic conditions.  

Thought Processes continually create new pathways in the brain:

Good or Bad.

My coaching style is rooted in the belief that food should be nourishing and enjoyable, and that true health is achieved through balance and mindfulness. I take the time to get to know each of my clients on a personal level, and work with them to make sustainable changes that improve their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
